What we believe

Retirement planning in Canada means one thing: the money. Which matters, and is well covered by people qualified to cover it. What almost nobody prepares you for is the Tuesday morning six weeks in, when the money is fine and the day is empty. That part should cost CA$20 to think through properly.

A plan for the days,
not the dollars.

Built from scratch around when you stop, what you are least sure about, and whether a partner is stopping with you. This is not financial planning and does not try to be.

01

The first twelve months

What the transition actually tends to look like, month by month, including the dip most people are not warned about and roughly when it lands.

02

A week that works

The shape of a good week when nothing is scheduled for you. Anchors, rhythm, and how much structure is the right amount for you specifically.

03

Who you are now

Practical ways to answer the what-do-you-do question, and to rebuild the parts of identity and status that came with the job.

04

The people

Work supplies most adult friendships and then stops supplying them. How to keep the ones worth keeping and build new ones, which gets harder without a shared timetable.

05

Two people, one retirement

If a partner is involved, the conversations worth having early: time together, time apart, whose routine wins the kitchen, and stopping at different times.

06

What to do first

Three to five things to do this month, in order, each finishable in one sitting. Starting well before your last day if you still have one.

The process

Three steps.
Then a real week.

Under five minutes of questions. A plan about your days, your routine and your people. The money side stays with your financial adviser, where it belongs.

This is not a financial plan.

We do not ask about your savings and the plan says nothing about CPP timing, RRIF conversion or investments. That work belongs with a qualified adviser.

Built from scratch, for you.

Someone who stopped last month and someone five years out need different plans. So do a person retiring alone and a couple stopping at different times.

30-day guarantee.

need to know.

How quickly will I receive my plan?

Your personalized plan is generated and emailed to you within minutes of your purchase. Check your inbox and your spam folder just in case.

Does this cover CPP, OAS or my RRSPs?

No, deliberately. When to take CPP, how to draw down registered accounts and what your income will be are real questions that need someone qualified and licensed, who knows your actual numbers. This plan is about the other half nobody covers: the days, the routine, the people and the identity.

I retired two years ago. Is it too late?

No. Say so in the form and the plan starts from where you are rather than from a last day that has passed. The questions it works on tend to get louder in year two, not quieter.

My partner and I disagree about all this.

Choose that option and the plan takes it seriously. Retiring at different times, or wanting different things from the same years, is one of the most common sources of friction and one of the least discussed.

Is this a subscription?

No. This is a one-time payment of CA$20. You pay once and receive your plan. No recurring charges, no hidden fees.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, email retiring@canadawithpurpose.ca within 30 days and we will refund you in full.
